Admissions

Official admissions to graduate study at the university are contingent upon review of an applicant's record, receipt of a final undergraduate transcript showing degree(s) awarded, an affirmative recommendation by the department and action by the UC San Diego Graduate Division.

Financial Assistance

All graduate students at UC San Diego are responsible for tuition and fees each quarter in order to utilize University resources. Students can receive financial support to help cover these costs in the forms of fellowships, scholarships, and academic student employment positions.

Advising

Current and prospective Students may speak with MAE Graduate Program Coordinators (PhD & MS) during Open Advising hours (offerred remote via Zoom weekly) or by appointment. 'In person' advising is only available upon request and with an appointment. There is no 'walk-in' in person advising at this time.

We are pleased to offer a professional Masters of Advanced Studies (MAS) degree in Medical Device Engineering. 

We are also co-collaborators on another MAS degrees in Architecture-Based Enterprise Systems Engineering with the Computer Science and Engineering Department.
