Center for Biomechanics

The goal of the Center for Biomechanics Research is to link fundamental principles of mechanics to the fields of biology, the life sciences, and medicine. Our research spans both theoretical and applied work in engineering and mathematics, including biophysics, medical applications, locomotion, medical devices, cell mechanics, biofluids and cardiovascular biomechanics. The center aims to bring together researchers from a wide range of disciplines through collaborations, seminars, and student interactions.
